The Caesar Chronicles

This began as a little story several years ago when I was frustrated and depressed with writing I was trying to sell. Having recently rediscovered Zorro on the Disney channel, and found a few websites with Zorro stories on them, I began having little scenarios finding their way into my devious little mind. One of these came after I had re-read some Uncle Remus stories, ultimately becoming Hail, Caesar. Later, Caesar, the ugly dog figured into another, longer tale that I called Et Tu, Brutus. The last of the trilogy was a quasi-Christmas tale mixing real people with the Zorro universe that I have come to love so much-- Caesar Triumphant.

I am so very indebted to several people in the course of writing these stories. The first is my family, my loving husband, my son, and my daughter, who has put up with my obsessions and the time glued in front of the computer. And there is David Nesbitt, a wonderful young man, whose fanfiction site was the first I found in my search for Zorro stories. He was kind enough to post Hail, Caesar for me and 'give me my start' in fanfiction circles. The next is Matt and Keliana Baker, without whose encouragement, I probably would have given up long ago. (Matt is the protagonist of the third story and also the artist of the pictures on this page.) Then, last, but certainly not least, is Pat Crumpler, who kept me in line, kept encouraging me when I was discouraged and listened to my continuous ramblings. Thank you so much, all of you.
